Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of attending The Makeup Show in New York City. I’m not gonna lie, The Makeup Show is every makeup addict’s dream! Celebrity makeup artists, youtube gurus, and artists from around the world flock to this event every year. The energy is high and chaotic, but it’s a beautiful chaos with lots of chatter of the latest and greatest in all things makeup! The show was a mix of acclaimed artists discussing [...]

Outfit Post: The Long and Short of It.
Lately I am loving interesting hemlines like the one of this skirt by Forever 21. As much as I like a girly look, I still prefer outfits with an edge, and the black accessories and cage heels gave me the edge. My dear friend, Pamela Jabonete, who is sort of beauty guru (makeup artist, stylist, and aspiring photographer all rolled into one) helped me put this look together. She suggested the white purse, and I love that unexpected pop of [...]

Fierce
Last weekend Ana and I got together to shoot a color story with full force. For makeup, Ana used MAC pigments on the eyes and lips in bold hues of pink (Madly Personal pigment), purple (Full Force Violet) and orange (Neo Orange). I am so happy with how the images came out! Alexandria is an amazing model with great variety and drama to her looks. More photos will be released on our Facebook page over the next week, [...]
Women: How to wear men’s shoes
Men inspired shoes for women have been popular for quite awhile, and they don’t seem to be going away. I wore Oxfords in my recent One Shirt, Three Ways post, which brought up some conversation with friends on how else to wear oxfords and wear to buy them. One of my favorite blogs, Budget Babe, showed several different outfits with oxfords and brogues.
The first outfit proves that oxfords look great when paired with a skirt.
Style File: One Shirt, Three Ways
I’m always looking for ways to save money and still be fashionable. An easy way to appease the need for style without breaking the bank is investing in a nice shirt that can be worn many difference ways. I recently bought this cotton chambray shirt at Express, and although it requires some ironing (not my fav!), I’m getting a lot of use out of it.
Look 1: I paired the shirt with skinny jeans, oxfords [...]
Cruise adventures
So this past weekend my sister and I had a little cruise getaway. We both went separate ways with her cruise touring the Cayman islands and Mexico and mine hopping along the Bahamas. O.M.G highly recommended! It was absolute perfection. Although sun overload lol because now my sister and I are burnt to a crisp! Here are some photos from our adventures!
Any other Spring [...]
