Girls Night Out is No Bull

Girls Night Out is No Bull

There are few things I enjoy more than a girls night out, aka GNO. As much as I love being with my boys, I NEED my girls night in order to keep functioning properly. For this GNO, we made our way to Cadillac Ranch at the National Harbor in Maryland.  Cadillac Ranch has some great American fare…ribs, crab dip, burgers, delish! But the REAL reason we chose this shindig was none other than the thing below…

Yep, the mechanical bull. Three dollars gets you on the slippery back of the bull. The first challenge is getting on the bull…took me a few tries, but I blame it on my sweater cape. The second challenge is staying on the bull whilst trying to maintain some cuteness and entertain the onlookers…or not. My ride lasted about 17 seconds before being thrown off. I’m sure you can beat it.

Now, if riding the bull ain’t your thing, you can always order the gigantic brownie with ice cream, yum-o! See, there’s something for everyone!

Other highlights? Let’s look at some beauty + fashion, since this is DMVsGotStyle.com…

Catching my friend Silvia reapply her pink Guerlain lipstick with her Parisian mirror compact. She’s a world traveler so she actually bought the mirror in Paris of course…sigh…I wanna go to Paris.

And my outfit, which I really <3.

Sweater: H&M, Leopard Booties: Nasty Gal,  Bag: Coach, Leggings: anywhere

Vampy Lip Combo: MAC Lipstick in Media + MAC Vino Lip liner + gloss

So, I tried my own verson of Man Repeller’s Arm Party by piling on wood pieces with gold bangles and me likey.  I die for my silver and quartz ring, which I got at a fabulous jewelry boutique in Viejo San Juan, PR.  Gosh, I wish it was local.

Onto my new leopard booties from Nasty Gal. Okay, so I based my whole outfit around these babies. I LOVE THEM!!! If I could wear them daily, I would. These are the only platform shoes in my closet and I def plan to add some more to my collection. Also, I love Nasty Gal. Very good shopping experience, not to mention their clothes are super funky and unique. LOVE.

In the end, we ate yummy food, sang Happy B-day to beautiful Veronica, and rode a bull. And my leopard booties were the icing on the cake. Gotta love girlfriends and a big yay for GNO!

Looking forward to the next one :)

PS. Wanna see me ride the bull? Check out the video below!
